Arts and Healing Retreats – Leads annual songwriting workshops for women with cancer and chronic illness and women veterans
Meet the Composer – engaged in question and answer sessions with audiences, discussing the impetus and background for songs.
Songwriting Workshops – guided participants to brainstorm ideas for songs, explore melody and rhythm possibilities, and critique their own and others’ songs

Meet the Composer Sessions- Engage audiences in question and answer sessions, discussing background research, inspiration and the process of songwriting
Songwriting Workshops- Provide an understanding of basic song types and components, illustrate with examples, guide brainstorming sessions for song creation and critique
History of Adirondack Music Workshops- Guide participants through the recorded and oral history of folk music from the Adirondack region using artifacts, archival recordings as well as live performances
Writing from Life Workshops- Engage students through discussion and demonstration in what it means to be a writer, what it takes to create poems/songs, guiding them through the stages of observation, research, creation of lyric and music (fourth grade - local, regional, NYS history; eighth grade - language arts, poetry)
